Wera's Kraftform Plus 100, 300 and 900 series all feature the uniquely shaped Kraftform handle, designed to fit perfectly into the hand to allow for a ergonomic screwdriving experience. The handles hard zones glide like wheels across the hand for high working speeds, while soft zones provide grip to ensure high torque transfer and comfort during intensive use. A hexagonal anti-roll feature prevents any unwanted rolling off surfaces at the workplace. Wera VDE 100 and Engineering 300 series screwdrivers feature Lasertip technology on the screwdriver tips, which "bites" the tip into the screw head to prevent any slipping out from occurring. The 900 series chiseldrivers feature a Black Point tip that goes through a refined hardening process to ensure a long service life of the tip, offer increased corrosion protection and provide an exact fit.
100 Series VDE screwdrivers undergo dielectric strength test under a 10,000-volt load in a water bath to reassure users that their screwdrivers have been exhaustively tested for their most important feature; their insulation. Each individual Wera VDE screwdriver is subjected to this test to guarantee safe working up to 1,000 volts.
The 900 series chiseldrivers feature a hexagonal “Pound-thru†blade designed for the heaviest duty working situations. Made out of high-quality bit material the blade extends right through the handle, ensuring a full transfer of force, even when struck with a hammer. In addition an integrated impact cap and ductile tempered material in the handle help significantly increase the service life, reduce risk of splintering and absorb vibrations caused by hammering. More torque can also be transferred by attaching a ring spanner or open-end spanner to the integrated hex bolster.
